of the Presidium of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine
on the attempt to artificially obtain the status of USPP
by registering their office premises
The Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine (AENU) and the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (USPP) have long years of fruitful cooperation.
Throughout its history of 32 years of existence, the All-Ukrainian public organization Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (USPP) has been at the center of complex processes of building the economy of independent Ukraine, the formation of efficient working communications with the President, the Verkhovna Rada, the Government on issues of protection of the legal rights of the national producer, in this area the statutory provisions of AENU and USPP are completely identical.
Now there is a situation of an attempt to artificially degrade the status of the USPP by depriving them of their office premises, which they occupied for all 32 years of their existence.
At the same time, we are not talking about ordinary working offices for a public organization. In fact, in the conditions of the oppressed existence of social partnership institutions, the activities of the Anti-Crisis Headquarters for the Stability of the Economy in the Conditions of Martial Law – an integration platform that operates at the initiative of the USPP from 2022 to maintain communications between businesses, local communities, trade unions, scientific institutions and central executive authorities in conditions of war – are blocked . The program of international events with the participation of domestic entrepreneurs and representatives of the European business community and the USA is being disrupted. The question is the organization of the work of experts to develop proposals for the NSDC meeting on increasing the resilience of local communities, as well as the implementation of planned measures within the framework of the implementation of memorandums on cooperation with state authorities.
We appeal to all members of the Ukrainian National Union of Ukraine and concerned citizens of our country, within the limits of their capabilities and powers, to provide assistance for the continuation of the legal activities of the public organization and the correction of the shameful, artificially created situation in the conditions of a full-scale war, which does not correspond to the content of the declared intentions of the authorities in building equal trusting relations with the structured civil society.
